The Sustainability Policy of the Monómeros Group aims to establish the principles and foundations on which the business strategy is based.
The above defines the reference framework for Monómeros and its subsidiaries to develop and enhance comprehensive management aimed at creating value for stakeholders and contributing to sustainable development.
In order to achieve the stated objective in terms of sustainability, Monómeros and its subsidiaries adopt the following general guidelines for action:
Implement actions
focused on the protection of the environment and the mitigation of possible environmental impacts generated in production processes, to address climate change and preserve natural resources, guaranteeing a responsible operation that contributes to the sustainable development of agriculture and industry.
Contribute to the social development
of the country, promoting the empowerment and improvement of the quality of life of the less favored communities, through the implementation of different projects and programs, aimed at generating capacities in people and strengthening the social fabric, thus contributing to the well-being of business-community relations.
Promote respect for human rights, rejecting child labor, forced or compulsory labor and any form of modern slavery, not discriminating on any basis, and respecting freedom of association and collective bargaining, as well as the rights of ethnic minorities.
Promote the inclusion of vulnerable groups in business matters, with a focus on understanding individual differences to establish win-win relationships, making diversity an opportunity for business competitiveness.
Align all business conduct with the provisions of the Business Ethics and Transparency Program, in order to generate greater trust among stakeholders, mitigate risks, and maintain good corporate practices regarding good governance and transparency of processes.
Promote the strengthening of relationships with different interest groups, based on understanding and managing their expectations to generate trust and shared value.
